The Factory in Berlin Mitte has firmly established itself as an incubator in the capital’s dynamic start-up scene. We were all the more pleased about their inquiry for this study – a typical Berlin commercial brick building from the 19th century is given a crown that is in no way inferior to an Apple Store. The façade, made of load-bearing glass, supports the roof without any columns. Inside, a conference table can be moved to the desired viewing height by a motor.
