Originally, it was only supposed to be a small development – but shortly after the start of the project, we had to open up parts of the common property in order to deal with some moisture damage. What we found in the process was incredible. The complete roof insulation was soaked with condensation and had to be renewed. It also turned out that large steel girders were secured with DIY-store brackets. There is hardly a problem associated with the renovation of old buildings that we did not solve with this project.

The result is quite something! A spacious and open living area with an elegant eat-in kitchen. An internal staircase leads to the maisonette floor which is painted in deep blue and stretches across the living area like a canopy. From up there, one has access to a truly heavenly roof terrace with a divine view over Berlin.
